Songshan Lake which has the highest concentration of bio-enterprises in the city, has already took one step ahead by listing bio-industry as a leading industry of Songshan Lake. Through years of development, the industry has burgeoned at Songshan Lake High-Tech Industrial Development Zone (hereinafter the “Zone”), thanks to the location of 300-odd biological projects in the field of biomedicine, biomedical engineering, biological food, etc. Some of the projects are 3S Bio Inc., HEC, Modern Dental Group, Anke Biotechnology, CapitalBio Corporation and Fapon Biotech Inc. With many biotechnology industrial chains being formed (such as pharmaceutical R&D industry chain, medical equipment industrial chain, TCM industrial chain, in-vitro diagnosis (IVD) industrial chain, industrial support chain for academic and research institutions and support chain for biotech venture capital industry) and the correspond multi-level multi-subject industry funds being put in place, industrial clustering has been basically realized.

To promote development of this industry, a grand industrial occasion involving all aspects of biological industry development is about to open on July 30-31, 2018. On the morning of July 31, Songshan Lake will see the grand opening of an industrial promotion conference that will gather industrial elites from all over the world.
